My husband and I were more excited to see the movie than our two companions; our 6 year-old neice and 6 year-old son. Of course, each had their kids version snack with the Madagascar characters. The addition of Bernie Mac was an added side-splitter. The music made the kids all around us dance and as parents it was hard not to laugh. The new version of “I like to move it move it” was great. We can’t wait for the movie soundtrack. The idea that these loveable characters find their roots is memorable. Melmen’s admission is priceless. Too funny. As usual, the penguins have a great time conquering. One unexpected character is that of a very vibrant old woman with a New Yorker attitude. This was an excellent funny family movie, so if you have not seen it then go and enjoy some quality time.
