Bette Midler is truly the Divine Miss M.  Where else could you see a performer dressed as a mermaid singing and gliding in an electric wheel chair?  With her Caesar Salad Girls and Harlettes performing with her, the show was more than just a show but an experience.  Onstage in Las Vegas, Nevada at classically Greek Caesar’s Palace Miss M’s show fits in perfectly since she is a classy lady all her own.

Bette Midler is known for her stunning vocal range with lyrics that either touch the heart or pick at the funny bone.  She sang many of her hit songs including “The Rose,” “When A Man Loves A Woman,” “Wind Beneath My Wings,” and “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.” With each song there was a change on the set along with costumes and the energy on the stage. With many memorable videos, pics, and clips of Bette’s life made the performances seem very personable. The show was a celebration of her career and how humble she felt by the moments in her life that meant so much to her and her fans.

Another part of the show was her amazing ability to entertain the audience with her sense of humor. The audience laughed and really enjoyed the jokes that made her the Divine Miss M, she even commented to the fact the audience still laughs at them as if it were the first time they heard them.  Then again who wouldn’t laugh and enjoy the jokes with her alter ego Soph who allowed her to be a little raunchy with your jokes. There is nothing better than a woman with a couple of personalities to make a show exhilarating.

We highly recommend this show because it was such a memorable experience. Bette Midler is a fire-ball of energy and as she struts across the stage it is easy to get lost with the mentality of the “showgirl must go on.” This is one show you don’t want to miss while in Las Vegas.
