DreamsDontFade
Dreams do come true…

What comedian could fill the huge Orleans arena in Las Vegas? Jeff Foxworthy, that’s who performed for just one night on May 16th. We had the pleasure of sitting in the fourth row which gave us a perfect vantage point. Foxworthy entertained the audience for almost two hours with just a microphone, a stool, and water. He support s up and coming comedians, so he had an opening act who connected with the Vegas audience with his routine about never being married. By the end of the show, the audience was on their feet applauding.

Foxworthy was humble about his amazing career. He mentioned he got some of his new material because of his new children’s books where he did many book signings at local Walmarts across the country. Foxworthy made jokes about his own intelligence since he is the host of “Are you smarter than a fifth grader.” His talent drew in three generations of audience members because of his flare and content, it is a show for all ages. His knack for family oriented comedy made his show one of a kind.  The amount of content he covers is amazing while making it seem like he is just having an everyday conversation with an arena full of people.

As he was wrapping up the show, Foxworthy did not want to leave his audience without his signature redneck jokes. Our favorite was “you might be a redneck if you think the last line of the Star Spangled Banner is: Gentlemen start your engines.”

If you are in Vegas then you have to visit the Mardi Gras themed casino with its Cajun Prime Rib, plentiful parking, rockin’ concerts, sports events, and comic shows.
