I am not sure if it is that I am getting older or that my husband likes to keep up on the news, but I find myself watching more and more of John Beck on FOX 5. We also watch the court and world news on ACLJ. Where did our common sense go as Americans?

What is the Green Banking Center? Oh it is a a green bank building that is part of a bill so who is paying for these “green” buildings? It is an unclear part of Obama’s environmental plan. Can we make the thousands of pages more clear for the average American? We don’t have time to sit reading through pages and pages, so why can’t our representatives break it down so we know how will it affect those most in jeopardy of paying for the bill? Passing a bill at 3 a.m may not be the best decision ever

Let’s talk Federal Goverment Staffer’s getting their student loans paid off. They may not be able to get a huge raise, but paying off their debts is just as bad. I want some of that money to help me pay off my student loans. I am a high school counselor, middle class or even lower class now with the economy.

I want to know why Arizona and 5 other states are in the process of creating a bill to ban the Federal Government Health Care takeover. I wonder if my physical therapy for my foot will become a luxury when the government decides what my body needs instead of me making that decision.

What else? Can’t there be some openess with the public? We watched Iranians get beaten and even die to just be heard. As Americans, we cannot be lazy or ignore what is happening here in a country that used to known for its “freedom.”

Our representatives need to hear from you. Call or email. It is an easy way to get heard and feel like you are making some small difference. It seems like an uphill battle.

Let’s use our voices to he heard or God help us all. We will be a 3rd world country in no time flat.
