Doors are opening for us and we are so thankful to be able to help others while working on our own dreams which has come to include a number of younger people who we love and adore. Dylan is working on his orange belt and has learned the white belt kata. He wants the new belt before he goes back to school. Chandra finally was able to pick her classes today. It will take CSN a month to approve her request to be classified as independent so she does not have to rely on her parents’ income taxes. Cross your fingers for her because that will make such a huge difference in her life. Arteese is volunteering which makes us very proud. She is helping with the baby unit and really has grown into a beautiful young woman. Amber is a big-wig with Electric Visual and we will be sporting backpacks soon. Gotta check out the website. So many more to mention, but so little time. We are so grateful for the large family we have and the time we all share together.
Well, I am holding Fat Haters Club in my hand. The final proof that having a publisher rocks. The cover is awesome as many have seen on our website, but the back cover is even more interesting. As I scan through the pages, it is like looking at a whole different book. After I send back the final approval form, I will have a marketing team help me develop the book trailer, book signings, and much more. It is a wonderful feeling to have so many people work to make my book a success. As soon as I know my book signing schedule, I will post it and on our website dreamsdontfade. I am looking forward to getting responses when the book comes out.
As this one goes to marketing, I am rewriting my first book “What If” for my editor. She has a very keen eye for character development and exciting plot lines. She challenged me to make my writing better and then pushed for more. I never knew that the editing process could take so much time, but has been well worth it as I look at the final product.
I thank my husband who is working nights for the next few months to provide for us. Without him our lives would be very very boring. We are going to Jewel next weekend and then Aerosmith the next. Hope Steven Tyler does not get sick
We haven’t been to a concert in a while, so look for a few more reviews soon. Gotta write a review for Ice Age.
Hope doors are opening for you,
DDF
