MICHELLE OBAMA: Barack Obama will require you to work… Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.
Glenn Beck: So Obama must be tickled pink with all the people “getting involved,” right? Well, here’s his reaction to the health care protests:
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking.
I know we are angry that we are not heard. We have called. We have sent letters of opposition and this congressmen is clueless. Let’s quote:
REP. DAVID SCOTT, D-GA.: I’m listening to my constituents. These are people who live in the 13th Congressional District, who vote in this district. That’s who I’ve got to respond to. OK? All right. That’s everybody with different opinions. So what you’ve got to understand is, those of you that are here, that came and hijacked this event. This is not a health care event. You’ve made the choice to come here and take advantage of this meeting that these people in Douglassville worked hard to put together to deal with this road. You chose to come and do it on your own. Not a single one of you had the decency to call my office and set up for a meeting. OK? Then do that. Do that!
So, based on this statement, just call your congressmen to make an appointment so he/she can hear your “voice” on the issues. Yeah right. How many regular people get to chit chat with our servants. No wait, they don’t serve the public but tell us what to do…….Don’t stop at your representative!
And after you’ve called Congress, call the White House. Tell them, politely, that you demand the president address your issues.
We are not a crazed zombie like mob, but those who care about our country. We were raised to believe the flag represented freedom. Don’t stop going to town hall meetings. Don’t stop speaking out. Don’t stop thinking about your aging grandparents or parents who may not deserve healthcare based on their age if this reform passes.
Are the town hall meetings now being “stacked?” Let in those who agree in the front and those who disagree in the back? Then shut those who really oppose this reform so doors are shut. What the heck is happening in our states?
Just watched a video with a Pipe Fitting Union members shoving a senior Cancer patient out of the meeting. His daughter trying to push his way in. A military man video taping the whole thing and then attacked himself and you can see the camera being a union. He was even a union member, so how sickening is that?
How can we express our opinions if our calls are not returned, our mail not responded to, or can’t get in to ask the tough questions in town hall meetings?
Stand strong and stand firm, they serve the people and we need to hold them accountable! NOW!
