DreamsDontFade
Dreams do come true…

What more can we ask for? Why are we so thankful?

-We are all on vacation this week! Time is precious-family is priceless-loving each other is what this season is about.

-We added to our kid collection with Chandra’s brother who will be leaving today, but part of our Verizon family plan.

-Robert’s daughter arrives on Friday, so very excited about all her electric wear she will be distributing. We all look hip! Robert’s niece just had a baby girl, so really want to see the new baby this season.

-We will be making a spinach and artichoke dip for our family brunch on Friday. We picked names this year, so instead of getting presents that no one will use, we decided to take the pressure away and celebrate! A much better plan :)

-I poked a hole in my finger with the needle while sewing on the patches on our son’s karate jacket. Why am I thankful? I am very glad we can afford for him to have him in classes. He loves it and his instructor is just the best.

-Fat-Haters Club has officially been released. My marketing team will be contacting the media, write the press release, and set up book signings. Who knows what next year will bring. I just want to bask in the moment. Vegas PBS is going to help promote my book. I would love to be on Sesame Street LOL.

-Food is our passion, so we are so grateful to have the resources and time to enjoy cooking together and sharing it with others. We will be trying our hand at spinach and artichoke dip in a bread bowl for Christmas. We are not big on desserts, so we baked a ham, instead. Yummy…..Wing night is still a big hit and delicious. Just being able to share moments with our friends and family while making them smile with delicious dishes!

This list could go on-and-on!!!! What are you grateful for this year? Somehow Christ’s birth has slipped away as the main reason for the season. It has become about money and shopping. We will be reading our son the story of Jesus’ birth and remind him that gifts from Santa are just one small part of Christmas. We read every night and say our prayers, so you are all in our thoughts beyond this season. Our prayers are with you all :)

We wish you all hope, love, and a better economy for next year.
