Unfortunately, that magic has worn off for far too many people as they’ve grown older. “Please” has been replaced by demands and expectations, “thank you” with a grunt or a nod. <p>Respond, If You Please<br />
Yes, the literal translation of R.S.V.P. is a request: please reply. That doesn’t mean you should blow it off. Inboxes can get inundated with e-vites and Facebook event requests, but it’s still common courtesy to let someone know whether you plan to grace them with your presence.</p>
<p>Power Of The Pen<br />
E-mail may be the standard letter form these days, but there’s still nothing quite as personal as a handwritten note. The next time you have someone to thank, try sitting down and writing it out on your own. You’ll force yourself to reflect, and you’ll create a tangible memento your friend can treasure.</p>
<p>Ignore The Phone, Not Your Friend<br />
Cell phones have become a necessity we let run our lives. We’ve been trained to respond to every little beep or vibration, whether important or trivial, no matter what. If the phone interrupts something you’re doing, that’s one thing. But when you spend time with someone and decide to take a phone call, you let that other person know they’re not as important as whoever is calling.</p>
<p>Online Doesn’t Mean ‘Free-For-All’<br />
The anonymity of the Internet makes it easier for people to say what’s on their mind without fear of retribution. That can be a good thing in certain situations, but it gets used as a cover for saying things that most people would never let slip in face-to-face conversations.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What I can’t wrap my mind around is when people play the victim when they are not some bystander or victim of circumstance. You had everything to do with why I cut you out of our lives. You use social media to attack me. How easy it is for you to put my personal business out there with no regard. Who the hell do you think you are or your ex-girlfriends to put that out there and then think I am going to change my mind? This is the exact reason why we have cut you completely out of our lives. You have once again allowed your big mouth and others to bash me and I am supposed to respond how? Let’s play nice? Then people post bad things about me and try to make you look like some kind of saint?</p>
<p>I have no regrets! I don’t want anything to do with you-I will not change my mind about you, EVER!</p>
<p><em>The definition of victim is somebody who or something that is adversely affected by an action or circumstance; someone who is tricked or exploited; or somebody who experiences misfortune and feels helpless to remedy it.</em></p>
<p><em>The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different outcome.</em> I chose a different outcome and you can’t handle it.</p>
<p>You have the illusion that your presence could only make lives better. It is beyond your comprehension in your delusional mind that there are many who want nothing to do with you. You have proven over and over again exactly what influence you would have with your own words.</p>
<p>I have made the decision to strive to address things that just do not make sense because common sense is not applied to words spoken, actions, relationships, and/or in general life. I am going to begin with the contradictions, hypocrisies, and overwhelming manipulation of truth that continually shadow life.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">TIMELINE:</span></p>
<p>Here is why the idea of “things that don’t make sense” came into my mind. Your words are so contradictory that the truth has become so blurred that even you can’t keep an accurate timeline. Why keep spreading words that reflect so many different timelines:</p>
<p>1. Together 10 years, 18 years, 20 years, oh, wait-you have no idea how long in a relationship because the evolving door opened and closed so many times that an accurate account of time was more like a couple years. You have forgotten how many times you walked out, how much time spent apart, how many other women involved, and the final blow to me was “She told me to go back to my wife.” Yeah, I like you claiming how faithful you were over the years, but how much you have forgotten. Of course, you had nothing to do with why reactions. You being the epitome of innocence; can you hear the sarcasm as I type?</p>
<p>2. You still can’t make up your mind on how long you supposedly stayed home “taking care of someone else’s kid” or if you bleed sweat and tears working so hard in the scorching sun to pay all the household bills. Was it 6 months, 2 years, 3 years? Not sure, how long you lived off a woman who was barely making ends meet, who had to deliver pizzas during the summer to pay bills. I am sure you make yourself out to be a dedicated family man, but who went to bed early while not working. Who worked a full-time job and still up at night with crying child? Who paid for preschool? Who got a job working from home a year after coming back to LV? Whose mother lived in the household for a year and a half? You have forgotten so much in your timeline, just that you were the only one who sacrificed, suffered, was used, and abused, but by whom? Since mommy lived in the home and left her inheritance to her ex-daughter-in-law, that speaks volumes.</p>
<p>Interesting in all your posts, nothing nice, not one thing I ever did was good was it or good enough? Once again cements why you have been cut off permanently! Nothing out of your mouth is ever worth listening to because all you can do is bash!</p>
<p>In this timeline, it all ended when I started believing that my happiness counted. My voice in a relationship was deserved. I started a new timeline when my friend told me that “you make decisions based on the circumstances you were in.” His kind words helped me to forgive myself for my decisions and my own actions. He accepted me just as I was at the time and now my biggest fan, loving husband, and a hero of a father. You have no place in our lives anymore. You continue to try to bait, but as the sunshine of life pours upon us, you will be pushed back into shadows of the past.</p>
<p><em>Closure is defined as the sense of finality and coming to terms with an experience, felt or experienced over time.</em></p>
<p>I am 100% fulfilled with closure and for your information your closure happened when you described yourself to teachers, parents, friends, family, and even strangers that you were just a “caregiver to someone else’s kid.”</p>

<p>1.communist revolutionary-1994 started a group called storm: standing together to organize a revolutionary movement. They held study groups about theories of Marx and Lennon along with creating a socialist utopia.</p>
<p>2. defended a cop killer, Mumia Abu-Jamal, who pointed a gun at the officer’s face and pulled the trigger in 1999 in San Francisco. He coordinated a death penalty protest march on behalf of the inmate who shot officer in the head at point blank range. &#8220;We knew there was another event going on, but the timing of the court decision is what dictated when the protest was held,&#8221; said Van Jones, a San Francisco civil rights lawyer who helped coordinate the protest march.</p>
<p>3. He believes that the free market is dead.</p>
<p>4. He was on the petition and spoke out against as a 911 truther, but now has been covered up as of oct 2004 now shows he was on a petition looking into the 911, but evidence is still there.</p>
<p>5. Jan 2008. White polluters steer poison into areas of those of color. Do you believe that. This is why he wants us to go green. Ironically the byproduct of green is arsenic?  Uses exploitation to scare people into green jobs.</p>
<p>6. He wants to replace the “system of oppression”  with what?</p>
<p>The question is if the president agrees or disagrees with the philosophies of Van Jones?</p>
<p>Obviously so, since his long time friend Valerie Jarrett had nothing but acceptance and excitement that he would be providing expertise to the white house. She is Obama’s advisors. She says she has been watching him since Oakland and that is when he made all his communist statements, the cop killer rally, the 911 truther rally, the white polluter statements all were made during the time in Oakland.</p>
<p>NAACP Award-Did the president know about your past. He states he was open and honest-mid/level staffer at the white house. It was a rigorous process. He was a radical who has latched on green jobs. He is now speaking to high schoolers, colleges, and news. Is he still a communist? Does he believe in free market? He wants to move us from capitalism.</p>
<p>“Right now we’re saying we want to move from suicidal gray capitalism to some kind of eco-captialism where at least we’re not fast-tracking the destruction of the whole planet. Will that be enough? No, it won’t be enough. We want to go beyond the systems of exploitation and oppression altogether. But, that’s a process.” 2008</p>
<p>Process to an extreme goal. What is the extreme goal? What is a fascist or communist or anarchy. The progressive means steps toward something? Moving step by step by total government?</p>
<p>Van Jones is just a piece of the puzzle. What is our president’s goal? What does he believe?</p>
<p>Here are the facts:</p>
<p>1. He grew up in a communist environment</p>
<p>2. He sought a Marxist professor in college who was his mentor (he made speeches he sought out such people)</p>
<p>3. Went to a Marxist church for 20 years (in interview said he did not know it was Marxist)</p>
<p>4. Told Joe the plumber it was good to spread the wealth around (progressive thought)</p>
<p>5. Government is now taking over bank and car companies</p>
<p>6. Now, based on Van Jones interview, Obama knew his views before bringing him into his office, which means he knew Van Jones did not believe in the free market system. How can anyone create jobs (green or not) if they do not believe in the free market system we were founded on?</p>
<p>7. Appointed Ron Bloom who said the free market is nonsense. Another man hired to create jobs, but doesn’t believe in free market. What jobs would he create?</p>
<p>8. Oh, wait, more government jobs will be created so the government will become bigger and bigger and a government controlled country easier to manage. It is only a matter of time.</p>
<p>9. Andy Stern (SEIU President_ who is progressive is now in white house stating that “There are opportunities in America to share better the wealth, to rebalance the power, and unions and government are part of the solution.</p>
<p>Obama states he believes in the free market system, but he surrounds himself with those who do not believe in the free market system?</p>
<p>Nothing makes sense? He says to judge him by the people he surrounds himself with? So, what he says does not match the people he chooses to make decisions for our country. Trust your gut. It makes no sense and why should we trust?</p>

One player tries to outwit and outmaneuver the other by anticipating the other&#8217;s moves to gain power and eventually reach the goal of check mate. It is a strategic game. Situations in life seem to parallel this game. One can predict what the next move will be based on how well you know the opponent. Let&#8217;s take a look at opponent A and B. Opponent A is very observant, reflective, and stays calm. Unfortunately, opponent B does not know opponent A very well, so one missteps by getting overly pompous, boastful, and reveals one&#8217;s next move not once, but over and over again. The strategy is to keep your next move a secret. An element of surprise that now opponent B cannot take back. Self-control and restraint are foreign terms to opponent B. Just when opponent B is so confident that one will win, come to find that in the end that everything is not what is seems, but is a well thought out plan that will result in checkmate for opponent A.</font></p>

My brother, sisters, and mom sat in a hospital awaiting test results. Between the tears, we were able to laugh about how much has happened over the years. My dad is so funny, he gave us his final wishes: A bottle of black Tennessee Whiskey, a camping ground, and one more cast of line along a river while he finishes his bottle of whiskey. He also wants to watch the Colts game on Sunday. It is the simple things in life that really matter. It is the Sunday afternoon with all the family eating lunch and sharing memories that can never be replaced. Time is the gift. Possessions can be replaced, but the one moment in time shared between loved ones is what can never be replaced. </font></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Calibri">Then you sit around a table remembering those moments. His birthday was today, the 6th, and he is optimistic about his condition. We all want to think he will be here for a few more years. Time becomes so precious. Why is that? How do you say goodbye to a parent? How do you prepare for the inevitable? There are no guarantees in life. When your number is up then it is up, but death just sucks. I know where my dad is going and we will all see him again, but watching my mom hurting is difficult. I was estranged from my family for a long time and I missed so much. If my dad would have had this condition and I was not there I would have felt such tremendous regret. I have had the opportunity to rebuild relationships with my family.</font></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Calibri">I appreciate those times. We laugh, reminisce, and celebrate family. What more could I ask for except prayers for my dad. He has been a pillar in our lives. What do you do when the pillar is gone?</font></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="blogContent">The book is now for sale. We spent today creating a flyer to advertise that the author is available for an interview. My contacts at work have set me up with author days at different schools. My book has been nominated for a number of awards. My life is transforming and it is so surreal. I didn&#8217;t have the courage or the strength to put myself out there and promote. I felt I didn&#8217;t deserve it, but now I am very proud of my book &#8220;Fat-Hater&#8217;s Club&#8221; because it is about regaining your identity, believing in yourself, and overcoming adversity. I have overcome so much. I had an eating disorder for over 15 years. I allowed people to tell me that I had no value. I write as a way of healing my own wounds. I have definately moved on to find a relationship that builds me up instead of break me down. I have confidence as a wife and mother. I am passionate about my writing and what my voice has to offer to people around me. I gave up on living for a long time. I was emotionally dead and just lived a life I thought I deserved, but now I realize that I never had to settle for less than what I wanted. I just needed to believe in myself in that I have a lot to give to my family and to the world. I am ready world. To quote Rascal Flatt&#8217;s &#8220;Life has been patiently waiting for me&#8221; and I am ready to live it. Go live your dream. Take a chance on yourself. You may be very surprised.</p>
